Silver Sanz, a distinguished family company that has endured over three generations, stands as a leading example in the business world. His exciting story dates back to 1971, when Mr. Sanz, imbued with courage in the post-war scenario in Spain, undertook an epic journey across the globe, focusing especially on Japan and China in search of scarce products in a country in need of supplies. Despite not speaking English and the long three-day plane journeys to get to Japan, he disembarked with determination to explore suppliers and select the right products. In this context, the Silver Electronics brand was created, an umbrella under which the company has operated to this day, standing out in the field of electronic and electrical products. In a significant milestone for its development, in 1980 Varta Batteries was integrated into the company's distribution, becoming the third reference brand in Spain in a few years. The year 1992 marked a turning point with the construction of the imposing headquarters in Barcelona (BCN), recognized with the prestigious FAD Award for Interior Design and Architecture. These facilities symbolize Silver Sanz's innovative vision and commitment to excellence. In search of diversification and expansion, the company gave rise to Silver HT in 2003, its own brand dedicated to consumer electronics accessories. A year later, in 2004, Remington was incorporated as a distribution brand, thus expanding the product offering and consolidating its position in the market. In 2005, Silver Sanz achieved an unprecedented achievement by registering a record turnover of 29 million euros, demonstrating its prowess in financial management and its ability to respond to market needs. As part of its international expansion strategy, in 2010 a company was founded in China, with 100% Spanish capital. This office has become the epicenter of international purchasing management, which currently represents 80% of the company's income. In 2011, Silver Sanz opted to generate its own designs for the company's brands, forming both internal and external design teams. This initiative reflects its commitment to innovation and creativity. Throughout its history, Silver Sanz has continued to expand its brand portfolio. In 2013, the Smile brand was created, focused on photography accessories and information technology. And in 2022, Sunne Solar was created, a brand dedicated to solar energy products, in line with the growing importance of sustainability and renewable energy. Currently, the company is led exclusively by the third generation of the family, who have managed to keep alive the legacy and values that have driven it to success. With a staff of 43, Silver Sanz has faced significant challenges due to the global pandemic, leading to a strategic reorientation towards its own brands and a focus on growing online commerce. Likewise, it has incorporated different products to serve diverse sales channels, thus ensuring its adaptability and resilience in a constantly evolving business environment. The concern to discover what founded it in its beginnings has marked the culture of the Company and for this reason it is defined as a "50-year Start Up"
